Create & Take: Underwater Wishes

Hi bloggers, today we have a beautiful sea life themed Create & Take card using the Seahorse, Shells and Seaweed die set by Sweet Dixie and also the Memory Box Stitched Happy Birthday Rectangle. 

So let's get started...

Instructions:

1. Die cut the Seahorse from Apricot cardstock, shells from light blue and the Seaweed from green cardstock. 

2. Apply a small amount of Minc screen ink to the edges of the Seahorse. Once dry apply some holographic foil and put through the Minc foil applicator.

3. Apply a small amount of Nuvo mousse to the shells and seaweed.

4. Cut a piece of patterned paper to fit the base of the card. Cut a small strip of paper that will go across the middle of the card. Crumple fold this strip to add a bit of texture.

5. Die cut Happy Birthday Frame from brown cardstock. Layer a piece of white cardstock behind the frame and add a bit of distress ink.

6. Cut a tiny strip of the dotted kraft cardstock and adhere to the bottom of the card.

7. Assemble as per the picture above and add three bubbles and some string to finish.

This is such a wonderful card for the summer season and is ideal for both male and female birthdays.

Create & Take: It's So Nice...

Hi bloggers, today we are going to share with you last week's Create & Take using the Memory Box Stitched Tulips die and some new JustRite stamps. So let's get started....

Memory Box Stitched Tulips Die

Marianne Hearts and Cotton Lace Die Set

Watercolour Pencils

Black Onyx Versafine Ink Pad

Studio Light Sweet Romance 01 12 x 12 Paper

Instructions:

1. Take a square card blank and stamp the images onto the card using black ink. Colour with watercolour pencils. Add some grass using the watercolour pencils along the bottom of the card.

2. Die cut the Stitched Tulips onto the front of the card and then die cut the tulip heads again from pink spotty paper. 

3. Cut a square piece of green card and stick this behind the card on the inside. Position the tulip heads back inside the white card.

4. Cut a piece of green card to fit across the top of the card. Die cut using the Marianne lace border die on one side. Adhere in place on the top of the card.

5. Stamp wording onto the green card.

A beautiful card for Spring using some fabulous new stamps from JustRite which will be available to buy from our website shortly.

Create & Take: Out on the Open Sea

Last week's Create & Take was a nautical themed card using the new Shipmates die set from Emily Atherton's collection for Sizzix.  A great card for the men in our lives and worked brilliantly with the Swirling Stitches die from memory Box, showing how you could use this die to illustrate waves in the sea.

Let's get started:-

Instructions:

1. Cut Circus paper to fit the square card base and stick in place.

2. Cut a piece of Ocean blue cardstock and die cut the Swirling Stitches onto it.

3. Die cut the boat from Kraft, White and Nautical Blue cardstock and then cut and assemble as shown.

4. Die cut the anchor from a piece of Mylar cardstock and thread onto the string. Wrap the string around the Ocean blue cardstock and stick to the back with a piece of tape.

5. Die cut clouds from white cardstock.

6. Assemble the card as shown above.

Create & Take: Birthday Bunny

Happy Monday bloggers! Today we have an excellent Create & Take card using a new Karen Burniston die and Memory Box stamp set.

So let's get started.....

Instructions:-

1. Cut a piece of Blue Ombre cardstock to measure 4.75 x 10 inches and fold in half to create a 4.75 x 5 inch card.

2. Align the centre of the Pop It Up die to the centre fold line of the card and cut through. At the same time you could also die cut two clouds from the top part of the blue cardstock.

3. Cut a piece of the Collective Herringbone cardstock to 5 x 2 inches.

4. Stick the blue cardstock inside a card blank making sure the pop up part is forward. For this card, we used the wider part of the pop up to lean out from the card. Stick the Collective Herringbone cardstock inside the card.

5. Die cut all pieces for the balloon, double up the layers to strengthen the balloon. 

6. Stamp the bunny, colour with watercolour pencils cut around and then stick in place to look like the bunny is is the balloon basket.

7. Stick the balloon in place on the pop up part inside the card.

8. Decorate the front of the card with some patterned paper, another stamped bunny and a sentiment using the Woodware stamp set.

Another Create and Take

Here is another recent Create and Take, this one is using a very cute DO Crafts Stamp and the lovely Memory Box snowflake tree die.

The tree was cut from some white glitter paper and looks really lovely in real life.

Create and Take card

This is last weeks Create and Take and this one is for the men. Ideal for a slightly older man with a good sense of humour these Art Impressions stamps are a fabulously fun range of stamps to put a smile on your face.

As well as an Art Impressions stamp we have used some lovely Authentique papers and the Memory Box Trellis die which works great for this card. 

Talking Memory Box we have a massive delivery of new designs due early April, order them now and take advantage of the free postage this weekend.

Fridays Create and Take

Here is Fridays Create and Take made by me (caz)  I am rather partial to birdie images and as soon as I saw this cute set of Woodware Birds I knew I had to buy them :)

Here I showed the ladies that this set which is sold as Christmas Robins would actually work for any birds.

I have teamed him up with the very lovely Echo Park papers :) And a Woodware Thank You stamp.

Also used two Die-namics dies as well.

Here he has been transformed into Mr Robin and I have used some new Bazzill Patterened Paper

and the Memory Box Frostyville Wreath die too.
