Create & Take: Merry Christmas Robin


Hi bloggers, today we are sharing a bit of Christmas inspiration with you from last week's Create & Take and for us crafters when it comes to Christmas, it's never too soon to start making cards!

This card uses a lovely new Stampendous cling stamp set called Winter Tweets.

So let's get started.....

Products Used:


Instructions:

1. Cut two oblongs from the Ivy and Kisses cardstock. Kisses: 14.5cm x 10cm Ivy: 14cm x 9.5cm. Stick together and then adhere to the card blank.

2. Cut an oblong from the 'Smell the Roses' paper (stripes side): 13.5cm x 9cm and stick onto the card.

3. Die cut one large oval from the Kisses cardstock anf another oval from the 'Is always the best' paper (dots side) and stick together and then onto the card in the centre.

4. Die cut 'Merry Christmas' from the Ivy cardstock and adhere to the card.

5. On white card, stamp one robin and one holly image and colour using watercolour pencils and a water brush. Cut round each image.

6. Once cut out, sprinkle a small dusting of chunky white embossing powder over the bottom of the robin and on the ivy. Heat from underneath slowly until the powder melts. Leave to cool.

7. Place elements onto card and stick down. Use sticky pads behind the robin and ivy.

8. Add bubbles to top corners of the card.

9. Add clear Wink of Stella glitter to robin and holly images.

Create & Take: Kraft Sailboat


Hi bloggers, this week is set to be a glorious week in terms of UK weather and what better way to start off a week like this then with a seaside themed card. This card uses the Sailboat stamp set from Stampendous alongside some great Cottage Cutz nautical dies.

So let's get started....

Products Used:

White Stamping Card

Instructions:

1. Cut a piece of Nautical Blue Light cardstock to measure 17cm x 12cm.

2. Cut a piece of the Flour Sack Stripe paper to measure 16.2cm x 11.2cm.

3. Cut a piece of white stamping card to measure 15.5cm x 10.5cm.

4. Stick down the blue card and paper to the kraft card blank.

5. Onto white stamping card piece, cover with the stencil included with the Sailboat stamp set and ink through using the Summer Sky ink pad. Stick down onto the card.

6. Stamp the Sailboat onto white stamping card, colour in boat and mast using Brushed Corduroy pen and cut out.

7. Stamp the sails of the boat onto Flour Sack Stripe paper, cut out and paper piece over sails.

8. Stamp the wave onto blue card twice. Cut both out and add 3D foam pads to the back of one of the waves.

9. Stick the boat down onto card and place waves making sure boat is above top wave.

10. Die cut one seagull and anchor from silver card and anchor rope from kraft card.

11. Stick down elements onto card over the waves as shown.

12. Die cut a kraft banner, stamp with a sentiment and stick to the card, cutting off any excess.

13. Lastly, use glossy accents over the lines of the waves and leave to dry.

This stamp set is a great choice for the summer, whether your making cards for the summer season or wanting to add some beautiful stamped images to a sea themed scrapbook page.

Create & Take: Anniversary Flowers


Hi bloggers, it's time to review last week's Create & Take which is this beautiful Anniversary card using the new Stampendous Anniversary Wish stamp.

So let's get started....

Products Used:


Instructions:

1. Ink up the stamp with two shades of green Memento ink. The lighter shade on the outside border and the darker green for the words in the middle. Stamp in the middle of the front of the card blank.

2. Stamp corner images with black ink onto separate white card and cut around and colour with the green and coral distress ink pads.

3. Colour the small flowers on the main card with peeled paint being careful not to use too much water so not to soak through the card.

4. Colour hearts with coral ink pad, add some gold shimmer using a brush. Add a small bit of gold shimmer to the center of the flowers, once again not using too much water.

5. Position the corner pieces over the design using 3D foam pads.

6. Emboss strips of Green Tea cardstock with the X Stitch embossing folder and swipe with some gold mousse using your finger.

7. Finish by adding some tulle along the top and tying a bow.

This card is great for any anniversary occasion and the stamp gives you the ability to colour the design in the colours of your choice.

Create & Take: Happy Birthday Bear


Hi bloggers, today we have an adorable birthday card using some of the new Stampendous stamp sets and Marianne dies.

So let's get started...

Products Used:


Instructions:

1. Die cut Marianne Lace Doily from white cardstock and the doily background from Bazzill Green Tea.

2. Stamp the bear and flowers in black ink. Colour with watercolour pencils. Stamp the leaves using Shabby Shutters ink pad.

3. Place the die cut back into the die and use embossing mats to add embossed detail through your die cuting machine.

4. Adhere the white decorated doily onto the green background.

5. Emboss the leaves on a piece of Heidi coloured cardstock. Swipe with a white ink pad. Adhere to the bottom of the inside of the card.

6. Fold the front of the card in half to create an easel card and adhere the decorated panel on it.

7. Die cut the banner and stamp sentiment.

8. Fold banner and stick at the bottom of the card. Add flowers and use glitter glue to finish.

This design of card is a great alternative to a traditional card blank and with the characters included in the Stampendous Spring Short Stack you can create cards for many different occasions.

Alex's Jungle Friends


Hi bloggers, today we want to share with you some of the sample cards from Alex's class a few weeks ago, featuring the adorable Jungle Friends stamp set from Stampendous.

Alex created some wonderful cards with these new stamps, using watercolour pencils to effectively shade and colour in these friendly characters.



Mix these stamps with the new Stampendous Popcessories die set and you will be creating some pop up fun with these characters.
