Children in Need 2012

Thank you for the great turn out for Children In Need 2012. Thanks for the girls & customers who made cakes, biscuits, jams & chocolates. We would also like to thank Carole Dawson for donating 2 teddy bears for the raffle and combined sales we have raised over £100. The raffle will run in the shop until next Friday when we will draw the winner and the total amount raised

Fridays Create and Take

Here is Fridays Create and Take made by me (caz)  I am rather partial to birdie images and as soon as I saw this cute set of Woodware Birds I knew I had to buy them :)

Here I showed the ladies that this set which is sold as Christmas Robins would actually work for any birds.

I have teamed him up with the very lovely Echo Park papers :) And a Woodware Thank You stamp.

Also used two Die-namics dies as well.

Here he has been transformed into Mr Robin and I have used some new Bazzill Patterened Paper

and the Memory Box Frostyville Wreath die too.

Above are two more of the kids create and take I made for the kids whilst on holiday each Wednesday.

be a" SpOOky trick or treat project!!

No need to book but to help with prep for this project and ensure I bring enough "treats" please let me know how many kids are coming along to make this by emailing caiden@sky.com

Kids Create and take tomorrow

Roll up Roll Up! Come on bring the kids to the circus tomorrow at Crafts U Love in Charlwood. OK Maybe not the real circus but there they can make this cute little popcorn bag decorated in the circus theme! I will also be taking along my Popcorn machine so for those that are allowed they can chuck some real popcorn in it too! Create and take costs £3 per child. 10:30 am - 1:30pm

Puppy Power

Have you seen the new  Happi dies from Sizzix??  ADORABLE!  Here Caz has knocked up two puppies with her Sizzix machine and these dies and cut them so they are opening like a card.  If anyone wants a picture Tutorial how she did this just leave a message and we'll get Caz on the case.  She's also made a very girlie looking puppy too but that's still a work in progress.

I have a sneaking idea that this weeks kids create and take may include a puppy... Hmmm watch this space.

Kids Create and Takes

We will be running a Create and Take for kids every Wednesday from  10:30am - 1pm  The cost is £3 per child and they will get their own pack to create and a drink.  This is run similarly to our adult create and take in that you are give an instruction sheet and the childs parents or carer helps the child make their creation.  Caz will be on hand to call in for help if you need a little help.

There is no need to book just pop along any time within the hours above.  If however there are a number of you turning up at once it would be great if you would just be able to call in before so we can make sure we have enough packs made for you.

Create and Take Friday 20th

This weeks Create and Take was made by Caz this week.  Caz likes bright, fun and cute and we think this card hits all those marks.


We used the Hero Arts Owl Stamp, Happy Birthday from Woodware, Poppy Stamps banner die and a mixture of Ehco Park papers and Craft Creation papers.


Suzie Q will hopefully be back on form for her creation next week, she was still on holiday mode this week and talked Caz into "helping her".  

Don't forget there is no Create & Take tomorrow as we are getting ready for Saturdays Shop Birthday Event, hope to see you there!

We are getting in the mood to celebrate the Queen's Jubilee! Suzi Q has made another fab card for Create & Take with red, white and blue and using the Portobello Road Embossing Folder, Die-namics Banner day die and the free stamp set from the latest Creativity Magazine. Tomorrow we will be celebrating with some Jubliee cake so why not pop in and see us :)

Spring Demo Day

There was no Create & Take today as were are getting ready for our Spring Demo Day tomorrow. There will be demo's with Stamping Caz, Charry Wijers, Kim Fee & Alexandra Kamann. Tulips from Amsterdam!

Here is Charry's beautiful cards from her card class this week using the Tulips & Basket Marianne Dies. She has used vellum to create the basket on the pink card which is stunning!

A Boofle Card

I made this card for my son Harvey using the lovely Boofle stamps.

I LOVE this alphabet and can see it being a firm favourite. Love the stitching look.

Woodware Balloon Punch and some stripy twine.
