Puppy Power

Have you seen the new  Happi dies from Sizzix??  ADORABLE!  Here Caz has knocked up two puppies with her Sizzix machine and these dies and cut them so they are opening like a card.  If anyone wants a picture Tutorial how she did this just leave a message and we'll get Caz on the case.  She's also made a very girlie looking puppy too but that's still a work in progress.

I have a sneaking idea that this weeks kids create and take may include a puppy... Hmmm watch this space.

Kids Halloween Fun

Today being a Wednesday in the school holidays means that I (Caz) get a chance to play with the kids and make a little create and take especially for the younger ones.  We decorated these cute little paper bags with the Mimi Halloween set, all the kids (and Mums and Grandmas) did a great job!

A simple design but I have to remember this is just little ones making this and also its a create and take and not a class.  Of course at the end of it they had to visit me at the till where "trick or treat" was chanted and maybe I found them something nice :)

Come along tomorrow for the kids Create and Take where they will be decorating this little mini pail with some fringing scissors, flowers and making this adorable Easter Chick out of punched shapes.

11am - 2pm  No need to book but if you are bringing a group please let us know so we are ready for you and we may be able to advise you on a rough time to come along to get seat.

Children's Create and Take

Here is the boys version of the card.  I re mounted this one onto blue card as we were low on the yellow.  Many thanks to the Mums and Grandmas who brought their kids in today for the create and take.  Next week we'll be making a lovely Easter Project, perfect for an Easter goody or two!  If you feel like coming along next Wednesday booking is not required but to give us some idea on how many kids are coming it would be great for you to give us a quick ring on Tuesday so I know how many to prepare for.

Easter Create and Take - Kids Holiday

Tomorrow is the first of our two week Easter special Create and take for the kids and we will be making a cute little card using some of the Prima stamp sets.  These sets are fantastic value.  We will be adding a little Easter sentiment by way of a stamp or peel off but I haven't managed that bit yet.  We got one design for a little girl and one for a little boy.  Next week we'll be making a 3d project, the kids wont want to miss that one!

Tomorrow Weds 13th from 11am - 2pm so just pop in.

Kids Create & Take

It has been busy for Heidi in the shop today with the Create & Take. She has been rushed off her feet and looking forward to a rest tonight! She made some gorgeous treat bags for the kiddies using Quickutz dies and the Woodware 2.5"scallop punch.
