Kids Halloween Create and Take CANCELLED

IMPORTANT NOTICE : 

With regret tomorrows scheduled Kids Halloween Create and Take is CANCELLED - there is still no power at the shop/warehouse and with still no time frame for it to be on. With the power being off we are all working on the lighter side of the shop which so happens to be the classroom so its all a bit hectic! Hope the kiddies have a great Halloween regardless. Please pass this message on to anyone you know were thinking of coming.

Kids Halloween Create and Take

Caz's Halloween kids create and take. Come along on Wednesday 30th October to make this spooky little house. Pop in between 10:30 and 12:30 cost just £3. Whilst is it not required for you to book it would help hugely to know if you are coming and how many kids will be making this house so we can make sure enough kits are made.

On this card I have used the Karen Burniston new snipets pop n cuts dies. The house is so cute as a Christmas house.  But equally will work for many things.

Christmas Demo Day THIS SATURDAY

Come along and be inspired!

With 6 demonstrators showing off many different products.  From stamping and fabulous colouring by Alexandra to Charry and her amazing Sizzix Creations.  Karen with her adorable Poppy Stamps dies and stamps, Sues Vintage card delights, Suzanne will be showing off the Little Darlings stamps and Caz (me) will be showing you the various techniques you can do with the Gelatos.  There really is something for everyone.

Demos's start at 10 am and are being held at the shop and down at the Parish Hall.  Myself and Karen will be running a little "Create and Take" along with our demo table and the vintage tea room will be open and serving drinks and snacks.

There will  be a raffle as well.  With all proceeds going towards St Catherine's Hospice.

If you have been looking for an excuse to come along either for your first visit or a return visit Saturday is a great day to do it.

We made on cakes sales, raffles, coffee beans and create and takes £157.80

Crafts U Love will raise that total to £200!

 

The winner of the Crafty Raffle was EMMA S and the winner of the coffee bean competition was Barbara who won £8

her guess of 1999 was the closest as there was 2230 beans in the jar

Tuesday 10th Sept - Class with Alex

Create and Take time

This weeks create and take was a Christmas beauty by Paula.  This photo does not capture how lovely it is.

Paula has used the Hero Arts SNOWY NIGHT stamp

and two colour's of Memento inks one of which was called Summer Sky

 and the other I will have to find out for you as I can not remember!

The snowflake die is one of a set of three called SNOWFLAKES

Demonstration Day

We have our first confirmed demonstration details for our Christmas Demo Day and Caz  will be showing off the new Gelato's (coming to our website later in the week)  Nothing on the market today compares with Design Memory Craft Gelatos®.  Compact acid-free pigment sticks glide on creamy smooth for vibrant color and coverage.  All Gelatos® blend easily with or without water.  Try this unique medium on paper, canvas, or wood!  A great new way to add colour to your projects.  They have got Caz all inspired and even trying out a bit of canvas work teamed with the Sizzix Dies.

During our her demonstration Caz will be able to show you all the things you

Everyone enjoyed the demonstrations with Charry getting us in the Christmas Spirit using the new Marianne Dies. Karen was making some beautiful flowers with the Susan Tierney Cockburn Sizzix Dies, Sue was showing off her background skills and making some lovely cards with the Fireworks Sprays, Prima Tags, Distress paints and more and lastly Caz was showing of the latest Gadget that all crafters should have, the We R Memory Keepers Envelope board.

This past weeks Create and Take was a lovely Memory Box card in pastel colour's, it went down a storm with our ladies.

We used the Dogwood Blossom and Dogwood Blossom outline

and the lovely wording is from Hero Arts.

and it was finished off with a Twinkle Goosebump

This past weeks Create and Take was a Sue/Caz collaboration.

These are some of our newest arrivals from Marianne and some of these

bits are not on the website yet due to our website person being unavailable at the moment

, however if you want to order the owls give the office a ring and we can work out a way to get these on order for you. The same goes for the Twinkle Goosebump from K& Co that we have used on the card, this is the light pink one but they are available in many colours (photo below)
