Wednesday Evening's Calendar Class

Evening all.

It's my turn to post something on the blog so I thought I'd show you all the class I taught on Wednesday evening.

Back in November we had a class to make December's page for the Making Memories calendar. This class was to be done by our very talented Wendy Horrod but due to the dreaded bugs that float around she was ill and unable to take it. So me in my infinite wisdom (oh do I wish I actually had some) suggested to Paula that we shouldn't cancel it but do it ourselves. So between us (Paula designing the page and me taking the class) we managed to get it done (image to follow). Everyone enjoyed it and asked if it would be possible to make this class a regular thing. So we decided that once a month we'd hold a class to make the following months' page. As we didn't have much time in December it was left that everyone would all do their own January page.

This is the page that I designed for February. It's using the Cricut Expression, 4 different cartridges and a Revolution die.

I used the Paper Doll Dress Up Cartridge to make the two little people and the little cherub. I love that little cherub he's sooooo cute!!! The large and small hearts were cut using George and Basic Shapes. The letters at the beginning of Happy Valentine's Day were cut with the Storybook Cartridge and the rest of the letters were cut using Plantain Schoolbook. The flourish was cut with Quickutz REV 0024 flourish.

I will get a picture of December's page for you all to see and i'll finish off designing January's page and get pictures of that too.

Treacle! You've certainly got your mojo back! It's gorgeous - you are so clever and as SuzieQ says, you underestimate yourself - big time!

Believe in yourself - look at the lovely work you do.

Helpful information. Lucky me I found your web site by chance, and I am
shocked why this accident didn't happened in advance! I bookmarked it.
