Little B Designer Die Cuts

Happy Friday bloggers! Today we wanted to share with you some new die cuts we are now selling at Crafts U Love by a company called Little B.

These die cuts from Little B are stencils for die cutting and embossing and all come packaged in a bonus magnetic storage binder, perfect to keep them in good condition when you are resisting to use them in all your projects. They can be used with most machines including Bigshot, Cuttlebug, Wizard, QuicKutz Revolution (for dies up to 4") and more.

There are a variety of different designs to choose from including nesting dies, including basic shapes in a range of sizes such as stars, hearts and squares. Little B have included an alphabet and sentiments die sets, perfect for cardmaking and scrapbooking.

There are also some very cute Birthday die sets, Travel dies sets and flower die sets which all add that extra touch to a card or scrapbook page. However, one of our favourite dies has got to be the mini gift box die. Once assembled the box will measure approx 1.75" x 1.75" - so a very small gift box indeed but just think of the possibilities. You could make tiny gifts for friends at Christmas or it would be ideal when giving jewellery as a gift. You also get the die for the bow on top of the box as well and since its a die cut you could use a whole range of different papers to create many different outcomes.

All the die cuts you've seen in this blog post can be bought at Crafts U Love here. We also sell washi tape by Little B as well which includes lots of different designs, from measuring tape to musical notes.

So get creative this weekend with Little B!

Create and Take - Golden Swans

The Create and Take from Friday had a wedding theme about it, perfect for this time of year and follows on well from our previous post, especially with the use of a brand new Cottage Cutz die.

Products Needed:

French Vanilla Cardstock
Woodware Gold Shimmer Card
Cottage Cutz Swans Die Cut
Penny Black Gold Script Vellum
Adhesive Pearls
Woodware Daisy Punch
Scorpal Inches
Tombow Adhesive Stick
Gold Mirri Card
Little B Heart Dies

Instructions:

1. To start, cut french vanilla cardstock 5 x 10 inches.

2. Score at 2.5 inches and 7.5 inches and use the bone folder to create a nice crisp crease. This will then give you a gatefold style card.

3. Cut the vellum 6cm x 12cm and stick down to front of card panels using the Tombow adhesive stick making sure to cover the edges with the glue and hold down until firm.

4. Cut the heart die in gold shimmer card and stick to the left hand side of the card, making sure you only stick glue on the left hand side of the heart.

5. Cut the swans out of gold mirri card and stick to the heart.

6. Punch two daisies from the vellum and stick to the heart.

7. Finish off by placing a pearl in the centre.

'Crafty Space' Competition

Inspired by Caz's Crafty Palace gaining its fifteen minutes of fame in the Daily Mail a few weeks back we have decided to launch our own competition to get you crafters out there to share your crafting space with us at Crafts U Love.

We'd like to see where you craft and we'd then like to share them on our Facebook page for a little competition. It doesn't matter if its a whole room, a table in the dining room, or a kitchen counter, we would love to see them all! We know you crafters are ingenious sorts and we can often work in a postage stamp sized space when we have to, equally if there are 10 tables to spread over we'll do that too!

To enter your crafty space into our competition, simply email your photo to us at customerservices@craftsulove.co.uk with the subject line 'Crafty Spaces'. On Monday 21st April we will create a folder on Facebook where your crafty space can be viewed and 'liked'. The TWO with the most likes on Monday 28th April at 10am will win a £25 voucher from Crafts U Love to spend on-line or in-store.

You've got just under a week left, so get snapping!
