Create & Take: Snow Buddies


Hi bloggers, today we want to bring you some more Christmas inspiration with the new collection of Woodware stamps. This fantastic card was made by Stamping Caz for our Create & Take last week.

So let's get started....

Products:

Craft and You Design 12 x 12 Paper - Frozen 05
Fine Glitter

Instructions:

1. Stamp the Snow Buddies stamp with black ink onto White Smoothie cardstock, approx. 8cm x 20cm in size.

2. Colour the stamped image with watercolour pencils.

3. Adhere a thin line of glue around the edge of the cardstock and sprinkle some fine glitter. Leave to dry. For a bit of extra glitz, add some glitter to the snowmen's hats also.

3. Cut a piece of Frozen paper 10cm x 21.3cm and adhere this to the card base.

4. Adhere the Snow Buddies image onto the background paper.

5. Punch three snowflakes from Silver Mirri Card and and adhere to the card, adding a jewel to the center of each snowflake.

Create & Take: Wedding Congrats


Hi bloggers, it's the start of a new week and what better way to start then with a bit of card inspiration from last week's Create & Take. Last week we made a wedding congratulations card using some new Spellbinders Die D-Lites die sets.

So let's get started........

Products Used:
Spellbinders Die D-Lites Pop Fizz Clink Die Set
Spellbinders Labels Thirty Nine Die Set
Impression Obsession Congrats Die
Taylored Expressions Wedding Sequins
Little B Gold Love Foil Tape
Bazzill Basics White Card
Gold Mirror Card
5x7 White Card Blank
Penny Black Gold Vellum
3D Foam Pads

Instructions:

1. Cut the Penny Black vellum 12cm x 17cm and adhere to the front of the card.

2. Die cut and emboss a label shape from Spellbinders Labels Thirty Nine from white card and adhere to the center of the card using 3D foam pads.

3. Die cut 'Congrats', the champagne bottle, bow and the backs of the champagne glasses from gold mirror card. Make sure you also emboss the champagne bottle to add the beautiful pattern on the bottle.

4. Die cut the champagne glasses and label for the bottle from white card stock.

5. Adhere all the die cut pieces as shown on the card. Use 3D foam tape to adhere the bottle and one of the glasses to the card.

6. Finish by adding a small piece of washi tape underneath the champagne glasses and also some sequins to look like champagne fizz bubbles.

This die set from Spellbinders is so versatile and can be used for many different celebratory occasions.

Create & Take: Robin Greetings


Hi bloggers, we hope you all have had a creative weekend, fitting in a bit of crafting when you can. Today's post is a review of last week's create & take which is as you may have already guessed, a Christmas card. It is certainly never too early to start making Christmas cards and with all the new Christmas products coming into stock we couldn't resist kick starting Christmas last week.

So let's get started.....

Products Used:

Dauber
Watercolour Pencils
Penny Black Gold/White Foiled Paper

Instructions:

1. Stamp the robin onto white cardstock with black ink and set aside to dry. Once dry cut around the shape.

2. Load a sponge dauber with gold ink and swipe around the edges. Colour the line around the framed edge with a dark brown pencil.

3. Colour the robin and holly with watercolour pencils.

4. Cut a piece of Hilary cardstock 13cm x 13cm and die cut the Poppystamps Blizzard Corner from the edge. Adhere to the front of the card.

5. Cut a piece of Gold/White Penny Black script paper to measure 12cm x 5cm. Adhere to the card as shown.

6. Adhere the stamped panel to the middle of the card as shown.

7. Tie a bow of Antique Gold tulle to the left side of the card.

Create & Take: Birthday Cake


Hi bloggers, Create & Take is back and this week we have a lovely sparkly birthday card using the new Hero Art stamp and die sets and the Leane Creatief glitter tape.

So let's get started.....

Products Used:

Hero Arts Ombre Ink Pad - Purple - please ring the shop
Hero Arts Ombre Ink Pad - Black - please ring the shop

Instructions:

1. Stamp the cake and the cake stand onto white cardstock using the Grey Ombre ink pad and die cut around each of them.

2. Stamp the three layers onto the cake using the Purple ombre ink pad, using each different colour for each layer, going from light to dark.

3. Stamp the candle onto white cardstock twice using grey ombre ink and die cut around each one.

4. Cut a piece of Echo Park cardstock 7cm x 14cm and stick onto the front of the card.

5. Cut a piece of white cardstock 6.5cm x 10.5cm . Stamp the Happy Birthday sentiment to the left of the white cardstock and also stamp some sprinkles.

6. Use the Scor-Buddy across the top and bottom of the white cardstock to create a line of indented dots.

7. Adhere the cake, cake stand and candles together onto the white cardstock and adhere to the card.

8. To finish, add a line of silver washi tape underneath the white cardstock.
