I made an error in the my last post. Create & Take will start again on the Friday 14th January, I dont know were I got the 11th from!

Thanks to everyone that came to Create & Take on Friday we had a lovely day and a big thank you for all your yummy gifts!

The kids Create & Take is on today at the shop. Caz has made a very cute project for them so pop in for some festive fun!

Well its the last Create & Take of 2010! We have finished off with a little Thank You card using the new Kaisercraft Bouquet Stamp which is only £1.99! If you are popping over today we will be celebrating with mince pies & a hot spiced drink so it would be lovely to see you..

Sorry I have not blogged much lately things have been so hectic at Crafts U Love. Because of the snow we have had a back log of orders as Royal Mail didn't collect from us for 3 days and deliveries were held up so we were waiting for products to come in. But we are back to normal now and Create & Take will go ahead tomorrow. Here is a couple of cards made from the latest Imaginisce Papers & a little Present stamp for 99p!

Snow Update

Unfortunately we had to close the shop today because of the snow. Hopefully we will be able to get in on Friday but will keep you posted from the blog & Facebook. I dont exepct anyone in for Create & Take tomorrow but if any of you do brave the snow we can make a previous one.

We are back from the NEC and had such a great time. I would like to thank the ladies who helped us out on our stand, Jenny, Bernice, Jackie & Gill, it was great to meet you all.

Charry demonstrated on the Crafts U Love stand and made some beautiful cards which I will post soon. Charry is so creative I am sure you will be inspired by her stunning creations.

Tracy was a trooper last week as usual and didn't stop all week - thanks Trace!

We were also joined by our friends from Silhouette Europe Chris & Christa. They & Tracy run the Silhouette stand and lots of you went away with some great bundle offers.

It was also so lovely to meet lots of our customers and put some faces to names.

Hopefully we will see you again next year!

Now tomorrows Create & Take has been made by my good mum, Lyn. She has made this great money wallet which could be also used for vouchers.

A Snowy Scene

Here is the last Create & Take for October, I can't believe how fast this month has gone! Today we have used the Jumbo Tree punch from Do Crafts and the new Echo Park Winter Time Paper Range. These will hopefully be on the website on Friday.

Happy BeerDay!

Sorry I haven't posted for a while, it has been very busy at Crafts U Love. At the moment we are getting ready for the NEC next month and busy making lots of sample cards & demo boards. We had our Christmas event on the 9th which went really well with lots of you supporting our brilliant designers who came up with some lovely cards which I will post over the weekend - Promise!
We also have a little furry friend turn up a couple of weeks ago called Davina. To cut a long story short she seems to have been abandoned so we have been feeding her and made her a little bed until the Cat Rescue can come and collect her, which hopefully will be this weekend.
Create & Take this week is one for the men. We have used the Wild Rose Studio Stamp ' Time for a Pint' and the Paula Pascual Stamp Set 'All Year Round' .

Create & Take

This weeks Create & Take was using another embossing folder, Crafts Too Christmas Holly Embossing Frame. These cards are so simple, just emboss gold mirri card, stamp a sentiment on some cardstock and stick in the frame, punch out some holly and finish off with some red gems or red stickles. Simples!

This weeks card is using the freebie embossing folder that comes with Creativity Magazine Issue 23 . You also receive a free stamp set with this issue too so it is definately worth £2.50!

Welcome Back Molly!

It was great to see Molly yesterday at Create & Take. Molly is a very long standing customer who has been very ill lately and has been in hopsital for 3 months. Yesterday she was looking very well and it was really good to see her again.

We made a pretty card on Friday using the new Prima papers, which are absolutely gorgeous! And used the large Retro Flower & medium Daisy punches to create flowers with the Marianne Frame & Swirls Die.

Cupcake Heaven...

I am feeling really fat tonight after scoffing loads of cakes and butter cream icing that we made today, well I needed to check it tasted OK! Luke wanted to make some cup cakes for his teachers when he goes back to school tomorrow. He was supposed to take them in on the last day of term but both teachers left a day early for the Summer hols so he missed them. Anyway we made some vanilla & chocolate cupcakes and decorated with sprinkles & pearl dust. My mum had bought me some edible rice paper and we punched out some shapes. As you can see Luke made a little forest scene. They looked really good in the Heaven boxes and we finished them off with a little Nestie Tag.

Create & Take Time!

I can't believe it is Friday already, wow that week has gone so fast! This weeks Create & Take has been made using Kaisercraft Friendship Stamp set and the new Secret Bird Society Papers. These stamps are £4.99 a set and there 14 stamps on the sheet which works out at only 35p per Stamp - What a Bargain!!!

This weeks Create & Take idea comes from the Hero Art Catalogue using the Cling Antiques Writing Stamp. I have used watercolour pencils on one of the cards & Copic pens on the other one. Hero Arts have used distress inks which look really nice, but I don't have any of these in my craft stash yet! I have stamped it up with Coffee Archival Ink pad on walnut cream Bazzill smoothie.

We are now stocking Sizzix at Crafts U Love and have started off with some Tim Holtz dies. I would like to share one of our customers cards (BJ Gregory) and my anniversary card to my husband Geoff, we have both used the Tim Holtz Heart Wing die set (BJ gave me the idea with her Rock card)

Today's Create & Take was using the new Scor-Buddy Tool & peel offs. This great little tool is ideal for card makers as it is not too bulky. It comes with scor tool & it's own little bag. A simple but effective card.

Penny Black Card

Caz made this card and wanted to share.  She used Penny Black stamp Break for cake and the papers from Birthday Bash range from Imaginisce range

Here was Caz's childrens create and take from last week.  She will be running another this Wednesday too so bring the kids along so they can create something crafty.

Again the same range of papers used.  And a cute little Dovecraft set to make these fun corner bookmarks.  Inspired by Kim Fee's versions from our Birthday celebration day.

A little visitor...

We had a little visitor in our marquee on our shop birthday. This little chap decided to join our kids create and take table and sit on the pencil pot for quite some time. One of our customers, BJ Gregory, took this great photo and made and wonderful scrapbook page. Thanks BJ!
