Here is this weeks Create & Take using the new Cupcake Stamp from Imaginisce and Nellies square cutters. Even with all the snow today we had our regular ladies turning up for a mince pie and cuppa tea.
SALE
Don't forget we have a Sale at the shop tomorrow. We are keeping our fingers crossed that the snow won't come again tonight and we can get to work ok!
I love this little hedgehog stamp, he is so cute isn't he? He is called Hot Pants and is from the new Penny Black Valentine range. I have used him for this weeks Create & Take. I have coloured him in with some watercolour paints and used the Hero Art Mini Message Stamp Set for the sentiment.
We had a lovely day yesterday with Tracy Demonstrating the new Cricut Gypsy. One of the features of the Gypsy is that it allows you to weld your words and shapes together so Tracy has made these 3 door name plaques for my boys, arent they great!
We now have in stock the embossing folder kits from Provocraft. This allows you to make your own embossing folders which you then put through the Cuttlebug. This Merry Christmas was taken from the Tags, Bags & Boxes cartrige.
Another christmas card for Create & Take! We have used is a brand new Ornament Punch from EK Success. We have stamped the ornmanets with the Hero Arts Flourish Stamp and Kaleidacolor Cappuccino Delight Ink Pad. It has been finished off with Stickles or you can use some gems.
We are pleased to announce that Caz (Aka Stamping Caz) has joined Crafts U Love. Caz will be working in the shop on Saturdays and one day during the week. Caz is well known in the crafting world and has been Crafting for a number of years now so we are happy to have her on board.
This weeks Create & Take is using the new large snowflake & the Combo Scallop 3 Dot punches from Martha Stewart. These are just 3 little quick and easy christmas cards.
Tonight I had to cover the scrapbook class which was a bit last minute so this is a joint effort by Sue and I today using the BoBunny Delilah papers & stamp range. This range lends itself very well to autumnal photo's. We also used the Pumpkin Nesties to make a little secret message and done lots of inking and stamping and a bit of Glimmer Mist too. Everyone enjoyed the class and brought some beautiful autumn photos. Thanks to all the ladies who made me feel at ease on my first ever scrapbook lesson!
I can't believe how quickly this week has gone and we are back again for Create and Take. I have been asked to do more mens cards so here is my attempt using the Winter Scene-its from Hobby Art & the Cappuccino Delight Kaleidacolour ink pad. For the wording I have used the Jane Gill Script Clear Stamp Set which I absolutely love!
Sorry I haven't posted anything for a week but we have been very busy up at the NEC and only got back late last night. It was a great show and it was lovely to see all our customers and fellow bloggers! Geoff and I were joined by Tracy who was brilliant and so helpful to all our customers. And Charry who demonstrated for us and done a wonderful job, she is such a sweet lady. We have lots of pictures to post which I will do so asap. Here is Fridays Create & Take which I forgot to post last week. We used the Hero Arts Large Christmas Stamp Set, the new Ladybug Snowman Melt Your Heart Papers and Martha Stewart Snowflurry Punch.
Here is the latest Cricut Expression from Provocraft and yes it is pink! If you want to get your hands on one they are due out in December so put them on your Christmas List! We are taking pre-orders on them here.
Here is this weeks Create and Take cards. I have used the Autumn Leaves Flower Trio Stamp which is only 99p with Wheat Versamagic ink or Beige Brilliance ink pad. I couldn't resist using the new Prima Coffee Country Elegant Flowers on some of these cards. Unfortunately they haven't scanned too well so they do look a bit feint!
We are pleased to announce that Charry is joining the Crafts U Love Design Team and running classes. Her 1st class is Wed 18th Nov 10.30am - 12.30pm and the class will be a Winter Scene Snow flurry using Penny Black Stamps and acetate. Book now to avoid disappointment.
