Christmas Event Day

Here are some pictures of the classes held at the hall and Suzi Q's Cafe. Thank you to Sarah Kallender and June Garner for helping Sue in her cafe. Thanks to Carol Dawson for donating a lovely Quiche (proceeds went to charity). We would also like to thank Wendy, Helen, Caz, Kim & Francoise for all their lovely cards and inspiring everyone! And a BIG thank you to our staff Sue, Tracy, Heidi, Katie & my mum for all their help leading up to the show and on the day to make it a successful and a fun event.

Ladybug's & Thank You

We have just received these new stamps in from Ladybug and they are causing quite a stir. Kim Fee demonstrated them on our Christmas Extravaganza and everyone loved them.
I have lots of photos to put on the blog over this week from our Demo Day and would like to thank everyone for their continued custom and help to make it a really special and enjoyable day

Create & Takers!

This was Create & Take last week with some of our regular customers, Carol, Vi & Gill. If you want to join in the fun on Fridays (except tomorrow) then pop along between 10am - 3pm, make a card and have a cuppa too! All for just £2 and there is not need to book.

New Recruit

Sorry I haven't updated for a week, it's very naughty of me! I still have problems with my scanner but I thought you may want to see our latest recruit at Crafts U Love. Here is my youngest son Ben (2 1/2) helping me with a mailshot. He insisted on helping so after he tried a few stamps which went everywhere expect the envelope and cost me over a £1, he was quite happy to fold down the envelopes and then put them all in a neat pile. Well after doing about 20 he got feed up and left the rest (another 700) to me!

Thank you for all the lovely handmade cards received today for my birthday. Unfortunately I cannot put them on the blog at the moment as my scanner is playing up. As soon as it is fixed I will put of them on and show you everyones beautiful creations!

Oh just to let you know the new class list is being sent this week with the workshops on the Christmas Event Day. They are booking up fast so make sure you dont miss out!

Natures Dance

Here is today's Create & Take, Natures Dance stamp from Penny Black. We embossed this stamp with gold embossing powder and then used silver & red Stickles at the end of the branches. We tied the new Bazzill Tulle around the cardstock to finish it off.

Sue's Christmas Creations

If you have every called Crafts U Love you would have spoken to Sue on the telephone. She runs the office here plus helps in the shop, pack a few orders too, well generally everything! Last night she made these lovely Christmas cards which I would like to share with you all. Although these are last years stamps we can still order them in if you want them.

Christmas Extravaganza Sat 27th Sept

We are now taking bookings for the workshops on our Christmas Extravangza on Sat 27th September. The classes are being held in the Charlwood Parish Hall and Stamping Caz will be demonstrating all day with Whipper Snapper Stamps. We will also be holding demos at the shop all day and a Free Prize Draw.

Acetate Album

This is the acetate album that Heidi made in Scrap Club this week. Heidi runs the Scrap Club once a month on a Wednesday evening so if you want to come and play check out our class list here. Next month's class will be scrapping your holidays pics so don't miss out.

This is one of the latest releases from Alota, the Lilly Ladybug Collection. They are so cute and very good value for £19.99 a sheet which has 9 stamps on it! I just realized I did mean to glitter her wings which will I think would look much better.
