A Day in the Shop Sat 23rd Feb

It was a nice day at the shop today. I met Corrine & her mum (you may know Corrine she used to work for Creative Pastimes). It was nice to see lots of familar faces and one of our loyal customers, Sarah who saved the day and brought the tea bags in!

Perfect Pearls are Back!!!

We have just received a selection of the new Perfect Pearls so I thought I would have a little play. Here I have used the Hero Arts Sketch Flower Stamp and embossed clear on black card. I have then used the Perfect Pearls with water and painted in the petals. I have decoupaged the flowers and slightly curled then. Hi everyone, I'm so sorry we haven't updated much this week we have been manic.....unpacking lots of new goodies for you to ohhhhhhh and ahhhhhhh over.

Doing Disney Cuttlebug Style

I thought you might like to see the cards I made whilst demonstrating on Saturday. I have fallen in love with the new Disney Cuttlebug shapes (you can find them here http://www.craftsulove.co.uk/cuttlebug_disney.htm ), they are so much fun to use. The ones I have used come with a cutting die and an embossing die, you run it through to cut and then run it through again in the folder to create the embossed effect. The Mickey was just done on black bazzill card and rubbed over with a white chalk ink, as you can see it is really effective.

Helens Class & Create & Take Cards

Thought you would like to see these cards that Helen completed in her evening class on Thursday evening. They were made using the new hero arts stamps the top one is K4952 Sketchbook Flowers stamp and the bottom card is made by using the LP107 Flourish borders stamp set. As usual the sample cards are in store so you can always pop along and have a look in real life....so to speak.

Helen is also holding another class on Wednesday morning, she still has a few places available so why not give us a call and book, we would love to see you.

As I was off yesterday you didn't get to see our create and take! It was designed by Jackie and was a real hit with the customers.
