Wendy Horrods Evening Class 22/01/08

I thought you would like to see what was made on last nights evening class. Wendy has used the latest love dies from Quickutz to create these lovely class cards.

Her next evening class is Feb 13th and will be available for booking in the next few days.

Nearly Back To Normal.............23/01/08

What a hectic few days we have had, we had a great show, it was so lovely to see everyone and to spend the weekend with Wendy (who was also demonstrating) and are finally nearly back to normal. I will spend the next few days posting the samples that were made during and in preparation for the weekend.



Here are the ones I made using the new Quickutz Design Software, it is brill! It lets you sketch, print & cut, layer and cut. It is fab value for money and I loved playing with it.



The samples are made using the "Wildflower" software and doodlebug papers. I love the freshness of them and I am looking forward to playing with the others. The fab think about this software is that you can use it on the Silhouette, Craftrobo and the Wishblade!!!!!!! So no one loses out.



I do have the silhouette in the shop so if you would like to come and see how the software works you are more than welcome.







I will hopefully be back later with some more samples and some pics of the stand and the team during the show.



There aren't that many pics of me as I discovered the "foot" long hot dogs and spent most of my time munching on them............. actually I only had 2 over the weekend but I did spend a while marveling at the nummyness of the crispy baguette and hideously overcooked sausage!

After the Show......... 21st Jan

Sorry we have not posted anything over the past couple of days but we have just got back from the Make It Show in Farnborough. We have loads of photos and sample cards to put on the blog which I hope to get on tomorrow. We had a great time at Farnborough and would like to thank all our customers that popped by and visited us on the stand.

Fridays Create & Take 15/01/08

After all the excitement of our busy weekend, I forgot to show you Jackies Create & Take from friday. She has used the doodlebug stripe paper with a Stempendous "Bee Wings" stamp and a Quickutz shortcuts "Happy Birthday" die, sweet and simple. Just how I like it...........

More Of Paulas Cards From Saturday.............14/01/08

I have found some more samples that Paula made for us on Saturday, I love the little chirpy bird I can't believe he is only 99p, what a bargain, I can't think of any other lush stamp for the same price of 3 Cadbury's Cream Eggs, ah yes the cream eggs are out again, this is very dangerous time for me I am already in danger of overdosing on the lushness of the eggy fondant....I LOVE cream eggs, sorry I digress....... I'm sure you will love these cards as much as we do. She has used the hero arts acetate tags and they look fab with souffle pens and a bit of inking. She really is a lovely lady and we all had such a nice day.

Two Of My Favorite Things..........Cake & Cats! (Not all at once though of course!) 10/01/08

I have found the purrrrrrrrrrrrrrfect sample for you to show the new Hero Arts clear cat stamps.

Isn't he cute..........I love the "Happy Everything" stamp it just about sums up the card really.

Also there is a clear set full of cupcakes, these stamps would be fab for any occasion. Another thanks to the unknown designer from Hero Arts, we love all the samples they supply.

Hi Everyone

I am back in the land of living....... and back to work. Thank you for all the kind messages, cards and calls I have recieved, and for the CUL team for sorting the blog out in my absence. I am much better and hoping for a healthier 2008!!!

I am up to my eyes in it at the moment as we are getting ready for the "You can make it" show which is coming up next week . Wendy Horrod and I are doing demonstrations on the Crafts U Love stand and we are really excited about it. We would love to see you all, so come and say "Hi!"

Finally we have just recieved some samples from our suppliers using the new Hero Arts stamps and thought you would like to see them . I love the middle one which is the windy tree and they also have some clear cat ones that are LUSH. I have a kitty sample somewhere.......I'll dig it out and post it tomorrow for you.

They are nummy scrummy arn't they! I can't wait to get playing....
