Christmas Dinner ........ 17th Dec 2007

Time for you to put a few faces to names.......
This is Geoff and Paula, the are the owners of Crafts U Love and it was Paula who started the business about 6 years ago, packing parcels on her ironing board in the bedroom.....
This is Sue and Joan, Sue works in the office and Joan is a great friend of Paula & Geoff and all of us at Crafts U Love, she often comes to see us and is a huge part of the CUL family. Sue feels that her arm looks like a thigh in this photo... I wish my thigh looks like that....
This is KT who packs and posts ll the parcels for our online orders. She has her own little cupboard and if she is really good she is allowed out of it!
This is the whole motley crew, left right is Paula, Me, Sue, Joan, Tracey, KT, Jackie, Helen & Paula's Mum Lyn.
This is Sue with a piece of watercress up her nose??? Apparently it sneaked up there whilst she was munching, good job we weren't at the Queens for tea.
This is me trying on Sues glasses, I think that we all agreed that it was a great impression of Olive from "On The Buses"
Finally this is Jenny, she is Geoff's mum and was missed out of the group shot. Jenny started Crafts U Love with Paula many moons ago, she is now busy with lots of new projects.
So there you have it, some faces to names! We had a lovely time, Geoff's Christmas speech is legendary and the highlight of the evening.........

I'm so sorry...................15/12/07

I am so sorry that I haven't updated for a few days, as you may know we have a 10% off everything online at the moment and we are really really busy. Also the 10% off in store has started today so it'll be another busy week ahead!!!

I just wanted to pop on and show you a lovely evening class that was made at an evening class last week by Wendy Horrid. It is using the "ready to dress" pails and the QK Snowday Ltd edition die set. We have just been told that we may be able to get hold of some more so keep your eyes pealed or email for details.

I was off yesterday so I forgot to show you the create & take! We made this card designed by Jackie.

Sorry it isn't a great picture, it is using the Papernation Nativity stamp, the QK Cookie Cutter Christmas greetings, the QK Revolution square tag and the Cuttlebug spots & dots embossing folder.

Also Crafts U Love had our Christmas party on Thursday evening, we had a fab evening at a local pub/restaurant. There are quite a few pictures but I haven't had a chance to get them of Geoff's camera to get them online.

I have one picture of Sue I thought you would like, Sue works in the office and takes the majority of telephone orders. She also does a lot of the customer service and I'm sure many of you have either spoken to her or seen her before. This is her quite early in the evening, they get worse..........including being attacked by a piece of watercress????? I will try and get hold of some more pictures so that you can put some faces to names.

Finally thanks to everyone who has asked about my famous finger! I am pleased to announce that it is MUCH better!! The dressings are off and although it doesn't look too pretty it will be back to normal soon.

That's all for now, I will pop back soon!

The Ultimate Die Cutting Weekend

We just want to thank everyone who came on the Ulitmate Die Cutting Weekend. We had an amazing time and it looked like everyone enjoyed it. Thank you all for the lovely emails & cards you have sent thanking us. We raised £247.20 for St. Catherines Hospice - Thank You. After such demand we are planning the next one and will let everyone know as soon as it is finalized!

Crafts U Loves Shops 1st Birthday!

I can't believe a year has passed and we have had our Shop's 1st Birthday! With Helen, Caz & Jackie doing Demo's we had a packed shop. Everyone got a goodie bag and a free stamp designed by us. Paula (one of the owners) inherited a crafting friends craft stash when she sadly passed away with skull cancer. Paula decided to raise money for St Catherines Hospice by hosting an Auction at the shop with some new & used stamps, inks & Quickutz Alphabets. We manged to raise over £300 for the Charity which we will continue to support in future events.
Thanks for everyones support over the past years and we look forward to seeing again in the future.
